To the left of the HW-32 on the first shelf is a homebrew PSU in the Heath style. The computer is based on a quad core AMD processor with an ASUS motherboard and runs four operating systems selectable on power up - it is surprisingly quiet in the HF spectrum considering the processing speed.
Right Vew
The main operating rig is a completely re-engineered SB-310 that now covers all HF and WARC bands and to its right is a matching SB-401 which has only been modified to include 160m and full elelctronic break-in.
Almost centre of picture are the home brew HF-VHF Z-Match and a new multi-output power supply built in the Heath style - details in the Electronic Design Centre on this site. Under the new PSU is the IMRC R-700 synthesised HF receiver covering 15KHz - 29.9999MHz and to the left of the Z-Match is the FT-450 standby rig. To the left of the FT-450 is a homebrew CMOS keyer that is used with Bencher paddles.
The main HF aerial is a stub loaded dipole covering 1.8 - 30MHz but usable up to 146MHz with the specially built Z-Match - details in the Eleectronic Design Centre.
